Why this part gets replaced
A charger gets replaced when the machine no longer charges, charges only at one cable angle, or the brick gets abnormally hot. Read the output line printed on the brick, for example 19.5V 3.33A, and match BOTH the voltage and the tip. Amperage may be equal or higher, never lower. The wrong tip diameter is the single most common mistake, and the wrong voltage will damage the board.
